Responsibilities

  • Work through new and existing business leads by making outbound calls to prospective customers, guiding them through the sales process.
  • Assess customers’ insurance needs and advise on appropriate Zego insurance products, always following compliance guidelines.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional support over phone, live chat and email.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times and build productive trust relationships.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries while documenting all communication in the internal system.
  • Follow GDPR guidelines and processes in all communication with customers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven skills working within a high‐performing, target‑driven customer sales and service environment, ideally in a call centre setting.
  • Obsessive about customer experience and act as an advocate for customers’ needs.
  • Excellent listening skills to give advice and support.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritisation and time‑management abilities.
  • Good understanding of GDPR rules and regulations, able to use multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Ideally, experience in insurance or an FCA regulated business.

  • Training delivered in our London office for the first 1–2 weeks, after which you will be able to work mostly remote.
  • We ask you to attend team and company‑wide events, normally once every couple of months, with a contribution towards travel costs.
