Are you hands-on, curious about how things work, and ready to kickstart a career in mechanical engineering? Join us as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer in our fast-paced food manufacturing facility, where no two days are the same.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is eager to learn, work hard, and grow with us. You\’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining and improving machinery used in high-speed food production, while working towards a recognised engineering qualification.
Job requirements
- Assisting with maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and production lines.
- Learning to troubleshoot mechanical faults and support efficient operation of machinery.
- Supporting planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams on-site.
- Following health and safety standards and quality control processes.
- Must be 18 or over
Do you have :
- A genuine interest in mechanical engineering and how machines work.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science – minimum Grade 4/C
- A team player with good communication skills.
