Zeeco Europe is seeking a skilled and motivated Internal Sales Engineer to join our team in Rutland. This role focuses on evaluating customer RFQs and preparing technical and commercial proposals for aftermarket components and ancillary equipment related to Zeeco’s installed capital equipment base. While primarily office-based, the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop the technical confidence to engage directly with customers through periodic site visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and understand customer enquiries, including detailed design specifications, industry codes, and standards.
- Prepare and submit timely, accurate technical and commercial proposals to end users, EPCs, Zeeco representatives, and trading houses.
- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
- Participate in hands‑on workshop training to assemble and disassemble flare and burner pilots, gaining practical product knowledge.
- Support Zeeco’s Turnaround Team on‑site during refurbishment projects to deepen understanding of Zeeco and competitor equipment.
- Set product pricing in line with established mark‑up and commission guidelines.
- Define and deliver contractual documentation that meets both client and internal standards.
- Provide continuous support during the bid phase, addressing technical and commercial queries.
- Assist in final negotiations to secure optimal outcomes for Zeeco.
- Create detailed spare parts recommendations for Zeeco and competitor equipment.
- Deliver clear handovers to the Aftermarket execution team, outlining scope, specifications, and budget.
- Support colleagues with additional duties aligned to your skills and experience.
- Uphold and improve Zeeco’s ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Promote and adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy.

Key Requirements
- Educational Background: Minimum HNC / HND or equivalent in engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical, or a related field).
- Industry Experience: Solid experience in sales/proposals or relevant industry experience; experience in fired combustion equipment or process knowledge is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, keyboard and written communication abilities.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to Detail: Resourceful, well‑organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented.
- Decision Making: Confident, assertive, and capable of making decisions autonomously.
