With a long-standing reputation for excellence and a forward-thinking approach, our client operates across a wide range of industries including Marine, ROV, Oceanographic, Waste Management, Aerospace, and Motorsport.
As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a time-served, experienced, and highly motivated Fabricator/Welder to join their skilled team and contribute to the continued success of their busy workshop. This role will primarily involve structural stainless steel TIG welding, as well as flux-cored arc welding. The ideal candidate will be confident and proficient in both fabrication and welding, as the position requires an even balance of both skill sets.
Key Responsibilities- Work from detailed engineering drawings
- Experience with coding in MIG and TIG welding processes (not essential as training can be provided)
- Good working knowledge of fabrication shop machinery and processes
- Ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work
- Following health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work area
- Collaborating effectively with other team members and contributing to a positive workshop culture
- Time served and experienced Fabricator/Welder, ideally with 10 years’ experience
- Ability to read, understand, and work from complex engineering drawings
- Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work in a safe manner
