Candidates with experience of purchasing and spend analytics would be especially welcome for this role.
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join our manufacturing client based in Cumbernauld on a contract basis. As well as supporting general purchasing activity one of the key projects will be to review indirect purchasing, map current spending and help shape a clear Indirect CAPEX framework that drives value and control.
Responsibilities
- Review the end-to-end indirect purchasing process
- Analyse spending profiles and supplier performance
- Identify quick wins and longer-term improvements
- Design and roll out an Indirect CAPEX framework with simple controls and clear approvals
- Partner with finance, engineering and operations to embed best practice
Requirements
- A strong background in indirect procurement and ideally CAPEX governance
- Confidence with spend analytics and ERP reporting
- A background of delivering savings and process improvements
- A clear communicator who can influence stakeholders at every level
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and deliver against performance targets
