Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and/or contract workers in an operational area.
- Is directly responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, performance and engagement of the staff.
- Assigns daily work, monitors progress, engages to resolve obstacles to ensure KPIs are met.
- Collaborates with peers across functions to support optimised performance across the site/business.
- Intentionally engages to drive a culture of belonging, development, safety, continuous improvement and high performance.
- Models Zebra’s culture and values for the teams they lead.
- Compiles and analyses operational data.
- Prepares reports for leadership that include proposals to address performance gaps in the team.
- Evaluates performance of their team and provides coaching and feedback to support success.
- Conducts performance appraisals and merit reviews for direct reports in alignment with Zebra’s philosophies and practices.
- Partners with Human Resources to recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and discipline.
- Participates or leads projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- IT Literate: Demonstrates strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to efficiently utilise these tools for document creation, data analysis, and effective communication.
