Role overview: Zebra Professional Services has a great new opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer to join our diverse international team. This role involves travel to customer sites across the UK and requires attendance at our Bourne End office, with the option to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Completing all phases of systems integration design projects.
- Delivering and implementing our solution and services within the project scope and deliverables.
- Supporting, identifying and raising Change requests.
- Support in LOE creation.
- Supporting and contributing to SOW documentation, reviewing with our internal Legal team.
- Analyzing best approaches to solve systems, applications, or process design problems (innovation vs. reuse), including best-fit solutions to customer requirements.
- Documenting and presenting to clients on technical solutions/designs.
- Providing support to Field Engineers working on device integration on customer sites and handling escalations.
- Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of engineering experience, or an engineering educational background.
- Knowledge of MDM and Android devices.
- Basic software development and networking knowledge.
- Field engineering experience in a client-facing role is a must.
- Knowledge of RFID and UWB is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with external clients.
- Ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel across the UK and work occasional night shifts as required by the project.
