Performs logistical tasks (receiving & shipping), troubleshooting, repairs (mechanical or electrical in nature), testing, and cleaning of customer returned products. Directly supports operational improvement activities and implementation of cost reduction ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with junior level staff regarding work distribution.
  • Requires ability to gain the cooperation of others to assure work is completed according to timetables and standards.
  • May be required to interpret and frame complex or specialized information for presentation to varied audiences, depending on role.
  • May have contact with key internal and external stakeholders in order to resolve complex problems.
  • May network with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
  • May represent the unit on project teams and may perform in project leadership role on projects of significant scope and impact depending on role.
  • Complexity of problem solving varies according to role.
  • Requires ability to assess and respond effectively to work quality and flow problems.
  • Effectively distributes work, providing performance guidance as needed.
  • Acts as a lead worker though has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
  • Provides leadership in emergency situations such as building evacuations or in cases of employee emergencies.
  • Full knowledge of ISO requirements and demonstrated ability to handle external auditors.
  • Develops basic reports, reviews data for accuracy, analyzes data, and uses findings of analytics to prioritize areas for further investigation to sustaining engineering or other functions.

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum Work Experience (years): 4+ Years.
