As a member of the EMEA Finance Team, you will analyze and explore areas such as revenue, margin, and growth opportunities. You will also track, understand, and critically analyze all contra revenue elements in EMEA (Discounts, promotions, rebates, and other incentives), liaising with relevant areas to provide holistic reporting, analysis, and insights to help drive business control, effectively manage, and improve margins.

As you gain knowledge and begin to interpret the data, you will be able to act as an influencer to other finance and commercial colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for in-depth knowledge, tracking, and analysis of rebates, promotions, and incentives for EMEA.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of EMEA Distribution and Channel footprint, policies, and contracts. Understanding channel program structure, partner levels, specializations, etc., including requirements and benefits.
  • Collaborates closely with Distribution sales, Channel operations, and Product sales as required.
  • Participates in promotion committee meetings and analyzes proposed promotions, presenting findings to support decision-making.
  • Helps drive forecast accuracy, define targets and budgets, work on KPIs, metrics, and variance analysis.
  • Designs and provides modeling, analysis, and guidance to sales and management to aid decision-making on future proposals.
  • Prepares and reviews weekly, monthly, and quarterly rebates forecasts and reports.
  • Supports month-end and quarter-end close processes for EMEA distribution business.
  • Serves as the contact point for external audits related to rebate accruals.
  • Analyzes historical data and market trends, engages in financial modeling, and offers insights and recommendations.
  • Works on cross-functional and finance projects as a team member and leader, focusing on processes, dashboards, tools, and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborates with various functions such as Sales, Operations, Strategy, Legal, Commissions, and Accounting.
  • Provides other ad hoc channel finance support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role involving revenue, discounts, promotions, rebates.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Finance or Commercial Finance.
  • High accuracy and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and database skills; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
