What We're Looking For:
Are you a copywriter with a knack for punchy, short form copy and a passion for crafting narratives? Do you have the unique ability to look at a dense technical datasheet and instantly find the compelling story hidden within it? We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Marketer II to join our internal creative production team based out of our London office. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our internal messaging, crafting compelling content specifically designed to engage, inform, and inspire our global Zebras. If you love transforming complex concepts into accessible stories, have the confidence to collaborate with top tech experts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect place for you to make your mark.
What You'll Do:
- Finding the Story: Analyse technical datasheets, strategic initiatives, and complex specifications to extract the "why" and craft compelling, human-centric stories for our employees.
- Expert Ghostwriting: Partner closely with senior technology specialists. You'll need the skill and confidence to interview these experts and edit or ghostwrite high-impact thought leadership pieces, internal blogs, and articles on their behalf.
- Crafting Compelling Internal Copy: Write innovative, engaging copy for a variety of internal channels, including newsletters, blogs, internal social platforms (like Viva Engage/Yammer), and presentation materials.
- Collaborative Content Creation: Work closely with the content manager, stakeholders and contributors to bring creative visions to life.
- Shaping the Internal Brand: Maintain a deep familiarity with the Zebra narrative. You must be able to adjust your voice and tone as needed for different campaigns and audiences, while ensuring strict adherence to the Zebra style guide and brand standards.
- Perfecting the Details: Proofread, edit, and polish content to perfection while maintaining current grammatical standards and documentation.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of professional copywriting, editing, or corporate communications experience.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills. You must be able to prove you can translate B2B or complex technology concepts into engaging narratives for an internal audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to collaborate with and ghostwrite for senior-level technical specialists.
- Working with video is a huge plus. Prior experience is not strictly required, but you must have a strong desire and ability to learn how to work with video content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A solid understanding of content strategy, internal communications, and targeted messaging.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently on projects while also thriving in a highly collaborative setting.
Please be prepared to share a portfolio or writing samples that highlight your skills and experience.
