As a member of the EMEA Business Finance Team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the development of analytical models with a focus on predictive insights. These models will explore areas such as revenue, margin, growth opportunities and improving forecast accuracy. This position will also be responsible for the preparation, investigation and resolution of management reports supporting multiple areas of Zebra providing analytics and variance analysis as necessary.
Maintains financial relationships with functional level management. Provides analysis and recommendations on a variety of ad hoc projects and interact with different departments.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage and drive standardized reporting to improve / drive sales process enablement, insight and execution
- Be an indispensable partner to the Sales team by turning insights into action and supporting overall business objectives
- Deliver accurate and timely consumption reports and insights
- Development / Creation of analytical models utilizing historical data / market trends for predictive analytics to evaluate / assess sales achievements to provide recommendations to improve performance
- Liaise with internal departments and effectively communicate financial analysis
- Involvement in the preparation and submission of annual budgets
- Acts as part of the team to assist with business partnership
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Appropriate professional qualification / certification to practice finance in country / region preferred
Minimum Work Experience (years):
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Equivalency: Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be considered with 3 years of relevant Zebra experience, inclusive of participation in the FDP program
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Advanced Excel and database skills
• Advanced experience with ERP systems: Oracle, OBI, SAP
• High degree of accuracy
• Confident at working to deadlines
• Prior experience of working within a Finance department is essential
