What We're Looking For:

Finance Data Analyst

Are you a Power BI expert who loves building tools that drive business decisions? We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. In this role, your primary mission is to design, develop, and maintain the robust data infrastructure, analytics reports, and visual dashboards that empower our commercial finance team and sales users. By leveraging Power BI and advanced data analysis, you will deliver the critical analytical tools our teams rely on to extract commercial insights and make strategic decisions.

If you are a detail‑oriented analyst who thrives on collaboration, loves building intuitive dashboards, and wants to directly impact business growth, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Power BI & Reporting Development: Design, build, and optimize high-performance Power BI dashboards, visual reports, and self‑service analytics templates specifically tailored for commercial finance and sales stakeholders.
  • Data Modeling & Analytics Infrastructure: Develop and maintain structured data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations to ensure reports are fast, accurate, and scalable.
  • Collaborative Requirement Gathering: Partner with the commercial finance team and sales report‑users to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into technical visual reporting solutions.
  • Central Data Alignment: Work closely with the central data analytics team to align on data governance, schema designs, and to integrate central data pipelines into commercial finance reporting suites.
  • Data Integrity & Auditing: Conduct regular audits and validations on commercial datasets to ensure absolute data integrity and consistency across all published reports.
  • Process Automation: Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual data collection and reporting processes, streamlining how data flows into our visualization tools.
  • Technology Modernization: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Power BI features, visualization standards, and data analytics tools to continuously improve our reporting capabilities.

Key Soft Skills & Mindset

  • Strong Accountability & Ownership: You take deep personal pride in the reliability and accuracy of your reports. You don't just build dashboards; you own the end‑to‑end quality and ensure they are always up‑to‑date and functioning perfectly.
  • Collective Success Orientation: You believe that a report is only successful if the end‑user actually uses it. You actively partner with commercial finance and sales teams to define success collectively, ensuring the final tools truly solve their business challenges.
  • Resourcefulness & Problem‑Solving: When faced with messy data, missing inputs, or system limitations, you are highly resourceful. You proactively seek out‑of‑the‑box technical solutions, figure out workarounds, and leverage available resources to get the job done.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, or sales operations analytics.
  • Technical Superpowers: Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and strong SQL skills. Experience with financial planning systems or ERPs is a major plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to synthesize large, unstructured datasets into clear commercial narratives.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation skills with a proven track record of explaining financial concepts and data trends to non‑finance stakeholders (especially sales leaders).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Benefits
