Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end product design initiatives — from discovery, ideation and prototyping to validation and delivery.
  • Define design strategies and integrate AI capabilities such as adaptive interfaces, personalization, and predictive UX flows.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Hardware teams to define and implement end‑to‑end user experiences.
  • Use modern design tools and frameworks to create robust prototypes and validate design decisions.
  • Conduct research using emerging frameworks that blend qualitative methods (interviews, participatory design) with quantitative analysis.
  • Collaborate on evolving multi‑modal design systems—voice, touch, gesture, and ambient feedback—ensuring continuity across physical and digital touchpoints.
  • Advocate for accessibility, privacy, and human impact in all connected experiences.
  • Support a culture of design excellence through mentorship, critique, and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience designing systems and interfaces for products in Io T, consumer hardware, or connected services.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product design for multi‑device ecosystems (mobile, web, wearables, home, or screenless).
  • Fluent in Figma, Fig Jam, Framer, and design operations tools for collaboration and system management.
  • Familiarity with LLM‑assisted design ideation and user testing workflows.
  • Experience integrating data from usage telemetry and user feedback into the design process.
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross‑functional environments where hardware and software innovation intersect.
  • Skilled at crafting consistent, context‑aware interfaces that adapt across platforms.
  • Preferred experience in AI‑augmented product ecosystems or intelligent assistant design.
  • Background in HCI, cognitive computing, or industrial design.
  • Previous experience in global‑scale tech, or high‑growth Saa S enterprise or consumer electronics companies.
  • Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
