Overview
In this role you will own end-to-end inbound planning and logistics from global suppliers, driving inventory health and continuous improvement. You will join a small, cross-border team and partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other planning groups to align supply with demand. You’ll optimise safety stock, reduce obsolescence risk, and influence key metrics such as on-time shipments and forecast accuracy. This hybrid position offers in-office collaboration at Bourne End and flexible remote days, with a meaningful impact on supply chain performance.

Responsibilities
- Track, prioritise, and expedite incoming shipments; negotiate delivery schedules for efficiency and demand alignment
- Review slow-moving/non-moving stock; optimise safety stock and reduce excess/obsolescence risk
- Own a defined product portfolio; develop and execute end-to-end supply strategy across lifecycle
- Own portfolio performance; influence metrics like on-time shipments, inventory, and forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and global planning teams to mitigate constraints and support new product introductions
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in demand planning or supply planning in a multinational
- Strong ownership and attention to detail; able to work independently
- Experience managing external suppliers and/or logistics providers
- Proactive mindset with ability to drive process improvements
- Excellent analytical skills and passion for data; advanced MS Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and planning software (e.g., Oracle Fusion DM Cloud) desirable
