What We're Looking For:
The Global SaaS Business Consultant is responsible for providing implementation and ongoing consulting services to customers, serving as a critical intermediary between our technical teams and our customers. In this role, you will provide expert implementation and ongoing consulting services, translating complex customer business requirements into comprehensive, actionable solution designs.
Drawing on your background in retail operations or workforce management, you will understand how SaaS workforce solutions operate on the ground. Your goal is to lead solution design workshops, deliver tailored training, and ensure customers can effectively leverage our timekeeping and workforce solutions to achieve their business objectives throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Implementation: Provide comprehensive implementation consulting services for new customers, acting as the bridge between technical execution and customer business needs.
- Solution Design: Translate customer business requirements into detailed, comprehensive solution design documents.
- Customer Guidance: Lead solution design workshops to guide customers on best practices for utilizing the SaaS workforce solution.
- Training & Enablement: Deliver robust customer training, including initial "Train the Trainer" and "Admin Training" sessions, as well as ongoing post-implementation training on new product features.
- Project Support: Support the customer project team with industry expertise and best practices throughout the entire implementation process.
- Lifecycle Consulting: Provide ongoing consulting to existing customers on new features, solution enhancements, and operational best practices.
- Business Analysis: Analyze the evolving business needs of existing customers to recommend and implement configuration changes that continuously optimize solution usage.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary subject matter expert on the solution and its application to various workforce and operational business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in workforce consulting, software implementation, or a related field.
- Strong background in retail, operations, or workforce management. Experience on the customer side (e.g., as a Payroll Assistant or Operations Manager) or with a competitor is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with timekeeping, payroll, or workforce management software products.
- SaaS Acumen - understanding of how SaaS workforce solutions operate "on the ground" and impact daily business operations.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA/APAC occasionally (up to 20%) per business need (including to the local Bourne End, Buckinghamshire UK HQ).
Preferred:
- Communication Skills: ability to act as an intermediary between highly technical teams and non-technical customer stakeholders, with a proven track record of delivering effective training.
- Commercial Awareness: capable of connecting with customers in line with their business needs and focus on providing the best outcomes from Workforce.
- Self-motivated and Independent: thrives in a primarily remote position, proactively communicating with internal stakeholders (implementation specialists, project managers, training & development, sales) and external stakeholders (clients).

Incentive Compensation: In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
