Overview

As Finance Data Analyst you will design and maintain analytics infrastructure and dashboards to empower the commercial finance and sales teams. You’ll build high-performance Power BI reports and data models that support strategic decisions and faster insights. You collaborate with finance, sales, and data governance teams to ensure accurate, scalable reporting and data alignment. This role offers hands-on impact on business growth through modernized analytics and self-service tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for commercial finance and sales stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations for fast, accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with finance and sales to gather requirements and translate them into visual reporting solutions
  • Coordinate with central data analytics to align data governance, schemas, and data pipelines
  • Perform data audits and validations to ensure data integrity across published reports
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual data collection and reporting processes
  • Stay updated on Power BI features and analytics tools to improve reporting capabilities

Key requirements

  • 2+ years in financial analysis, commercial finance, or sales operations analytics
  • Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with financial planning systems or ERPs is a major plus
  • Analytical ability to synthesize large datasets into clear narratives
  • Strong presentation skills for non-finance stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, or related quantitative field
