The Job
In this Field Service Technician role, you will work on-site for clients across London and the Southeast. You'll manage the full lifecycle of advanced print finishing equipment, from installation and scheduled servicing to complex fault diagnosis and repair, including training new operators on a range of machinery, including binders, stitchers, folders, laminators, and guillotines.
About You
You should be an experienced field service engineer with a good mix of the following skills and experience:
- Possess skills and experience in electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair, including components like gears, belts, and bearings.
- Proficient in board-level fault finding (PCB swap-outs).
- Able to interpret error codes and perform software updates and fixes.
- Experience in the printing industry is preferred, but similar machine troubleshooting skills from other fields will be considered.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible for travel and occasional overnight stays within the UK.
Benefits
- £38000 - £45000 plus overtime @ time and a half
