The Company: Our client is one of the country's leading technology providers, supplying EPOS (till) systems, mobile apps for ordering and web apps for engaging with consumers through loyalty programmes or reservations.
The Job: As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT network system connectivity and hardware issues at sites throughout Devon and Cornwall. Duties include:
- Installation, testing and configuration of EPOS systems, including structured cable testing
- Planned maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and swapping out units
- Fault-finding on computer WIFI networks
- Reimaging PCs, data copies and system updates
About You:
- Field-based customer service engineering experience
- Knowledge of computer hardware (PCs, IP Networks and WIFI)
- Manage own diary and workload
- EPOS knowledge desirable / not essential as full product training given
- Full Driving Licence
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. On-Call One Week in Three: Standby Hours: Mon-Fri 5pm-9pm, Sat & Sun 9am-9pm.
Benefits: £31,396 (£28,620 + £2,776 standby allowance) estimated earnings: £35,000 including overtime when on call out + £250 quarterly performance bonus. Basic salary rises from £28,620 to £30,000 after 12 months service. Company Van, 33 days holiday, Pension Scheme, Profit Share, Excellent Additional Benefits.
