As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of their flagship AI reporting product – a live, public-facing digital tool.

The client is looking for this Senior Delivery Manager to lead the delivery team, improve team health, identify bottlenecks, optimise ways of working, and support the team as the product scales.

The role involves:

  • Managing up to 5 Delivery Managers and 5 Junior Delivery Managers (previous people management preferred, but flexible)
  • Being the driving force behind Agile practices—deciding between Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid model depending on team needs
  • Reporting to the Lead Delivery Manager and collaborating across a delivery function of ~16 DMs
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams (Product, Design, Tech) and stakeholders to ensure user needs remain front and centre

The candidate should have:

  • A track record of delivering large-scale and budget products/services, preferably within a government or local council environment
  • Confidence working on complex projects across multi-disciplinary teams
  • A deep understanding of Agile ways of working
  • Comfort with AI-led projects (no deep knowledge needed)
  • Experience in GDS and/or DDaT frameworks is desirable
  • A user first mindset, with experience advocating for end users
