We're working with an early stage start-up in the sustainability space, and they're looking for a Product Designer to join their team.

This brand is all about greener solutions! They’re building a digital platform for a specific vertical within the sustainability sector, and their goal is to flip this space on its head by creating something that will make their users' lives easier on a daily basis.

They’re looking for a Mid-Level or Senior Product Designer to play a crucial role in translating complex technical processes into beautiful, clean and user-friendly interfaces. Your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Deep diving into this specific sector, spending time with users to understand their behaviours, challenges and motivations
  • Distilling your research findings into user-centric designs and conducting testing to validate your solutions
  • Developing and iterating on UX flows and interaction designs for app-based products
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented effectively
  • Working at pace and ensuring that you’re constantly iterating on your work

Who are they looking for?

  • You’ve got a strong portfolio that details your design processes and showcases your UI capabilities, as well as the impact you’ve had in previous roles
  • You’re able to evidence where you’ve taken data-heavy complex projects and distilled this into easy-to-use digital interfaces
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, easily able to conduct user research and collaborate with team members
  • You’ve got experience designing for cross-platform, and also a variety of different users
  • You’re confident in taking on a lot of responsibility, whilst working in a fast-moving environment
  • You’re easily able to back up your ideas, and you can say what will/won’t work from a design perspective
  • You enjoy complex challenges, and deep-diving into detailed spaces
  • You are totally passionate about joining an organisation with a green mission!

Base salary: £45,000 - £70,000 + equity

WFH policy: 1 day a week in London, although the team tend to go in more often – it’s totally flexible though.
