We’re hiring a Senior Digital Marketing Lead on a contract basis to support a global media and digital publishing brand. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on performance marketing, combining strategic oversight with delivery — driving improvements across paid media, CRM and channel performance through data‑led decision making.

Their platforms span content, subscription and commerce experiences, with a strong focus on driving growth through digital channels. They are continuing to invest in performance marketing, with an emphasis on efficiency, scalability and long‑term audience growth.
The Role: This is a 3‑month contract for a Senior Digital Marketing Lead to drive performance and provide direction across digital marketing channels. You’ll take ownership of paid media strategy and execution across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, while also overseeing CRM, email strategy and customer segmentation. Alongside hands‑on delivery, you’ll lead and coach a team, bringing structure and clarity to how campaigns are planned and executed. The role is focused on improving performance, aligning activity to revenue goals, and ensuring a strong, consistent brand presence across channels. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, using data and insights to guide decisions and identify opportunities to optimise and scale activity.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and coaching a team across marketing and editorial
- Owning paid media performance across Google Ads and Meta
- Managing budgets, channel strategy and campaign optimisation
- Driving performance against KPIs such as CPA, CTR and conversion rate
- Using data and insights to inform strategy and decision‑making
- Overseeing CRM, email strategy, segmentation and automation
- Establishing clear processes and ways of working to improve delivery
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across revenue and marketing teams
