Working on a digital transformation for an entertainment client, via a well-known and high pedigree advertising agency. Sprint-based with usability testing. The client initially offers a 3-month Fixed Term Contract (pro-rata salary) with potential to extend. £60,000-£80,000 (doe). 2-3 days per week needed in the office (Central London). Start ASAP. Sorry, sponsorship and fully remote working are NOT being offered.

The role involves managing the strategic direction of the project – not someone who needs to touch a wireframe or prototype at all. Fine if you have that background, but it will not be part of your remit within this role. Looking for someone who’s great at managing stakeholders and tells a great story – not someone who has to rely on UX jargon (although you’ll obviously need to be a User Experience expert still). You will run the process and steer designers whilst communicating with clients who potentially know nothing about UX processes. The agency has a Head of UX who you’d report to, but ultimately, he’s going to expect you to take the lead with this project.

The candidate should have a PhD in HCI (or at least very similar). Massive bonus points for anyone who can speak German or Italian – but not essential. Previous agency experience is also a plus. Soft skills are a major part of this role, but you’ll still need to have a deep, strategic understanding of UX processes and methodologies to create user-centric solutions that meet business objectives too.

If this sounds of interest to you then please get in touch with your CV, ASAP to stand the best chance of getting an interview.
