We're looking for a strong communication, visual designer who can help package and present complex work clearly and credibly to a wide stakeholder group. You'll join a fast moving Innovation Studio building and testing new digital solutions, often in technically complex areas such as AI. A key part of this role is helping translate that work into simple, visual storytelling so others across the business can easily understand what's being built and why it matters.
The role involves working closely with product and research teams to visually communicate innovation projects as they happen. This will include:
- Turning complex ideas into simple visual narratives
- Creating short internal storytelling videos
- Producing posters and visual summaries of work in progress
- Supporting leadership communication through visual assets
Video is a key part of the role. The team regularly works directly with users and partners in real world environments. You'll join these sessions to:
- Capture interactions and insights
- Create short, authentic videos that show progress in action
- Help keep internal stakeholders aligned and engaged
This isn’t about broadcast level production, but the output should be clearly stronger than informal mobile content. The focus is on fast, human storytelling. You'll need to be comfortable filming in live environments and editing quickly, often turning around outputs within days. Example projects might include joining short research trips and creating:
- A short video recap
- A visual postcard style summary
- Supporting storytelling assets
Stakeholder communication is essential as you'll help communicate innovation work to a wide range of stakeholders, including very senior leadership. Many are globally based and can't always attend in person, so your work will play an important role in making progress visible and easy to understand.
Design work may include:
- Simple posters
- Graphic storytelling assets
- Presentation support
- Visual summaries of product work
A wider design skillset, such as iconography, animation or motion graphics, isn’t required but would be a nice to have. The team uses Figma.
We're open on background, but this would likely suit someone who:
- Has strong graphic design skills
- Can also create and edit video
- Has experience working with digital or software led products
- Is comfortable translating complex ideas into simple visuals
Versatility across graphic design, video and ideally some animation is key. In short, we're looking for someone who can help tell the story of innovation, clearly, visually and at pace.
