We're hiring a UX Manager to lead and grow a team of designers within a complex, enterprise SaaS environment. The product sits in a regulated space, focused on secure data capture, storage, and oversight, used by large organisations with strict compliance requirements.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for both people management and shaping the direction of UX across a suite of products. You'll be managing a distributed team across London and North America, working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver high quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of 5–10 designers across multiple locations
- Set and drive UX strategy across complex, data-heavy products
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps and influence direction
- Establish and evolve design standards, processes, and ways of working
- Balance hands-on involvement with team leadership, supporting delivery where needed
- Drive consistency and quality across products, including design systems and accessibility
- Support hiring and scaling of the design team over time
- Navigate a regulated, enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders and constraints
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing and scaling design teams, ideally across multiple locations
- Background in enterprise software or B2B SaaS, ideally within regulated industries
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior leadership
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
- Solid grounding in UX, interaction design, and user research
- Experience operating in complex, data-heavy or workflow-driven products
- Ideally an academic background in HCI or a related field
The Setup
- London-based role, 4 days per week in the office
- Working across time zones, particularly with North America
- Flexible approach to working hours to support global collaboration
