We're partnering with an established digital experience agency to find a Senior UX Designer with strong end-to-end UX capability and confident client-facing skills.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking complex digital experiences and making them intuitive, usable and commercially effective.

You'll work across research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing, collaborating closely with clients, UI Designers and Engineers to take ideas through to delivery.

The role

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll take ownership of projects across the full UX process, from early discovery and research through to detailed design and implementation.

You'll work within a fast-paced agency environment, helping shape complex digital products while also building strong client relationships and contributing to the wider direction of the work.

You'll be involved in

  • Leading UX work from discovery through to delivery
  • Conducting and synthesising user research
  • Creating user flows, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes
  • Running usability testing and using insight to improve experiences
  • Turning complex requirements into simple, intuitive user journeys
  • Working closely with UI Designers and Engineers to bring ideas into production
  • Presenting thinking, recommendations and design rationale to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Facilitating workshops and helping shape briefs and product direction
  • Using research, data and customer insight to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • Contributing to design systems, patterns and standards
  • Working collaboratively within a cross-functional squad
  • The candidate

We're looking for someone who is genuinely Senior, hands-on and comfortable taking ownership, but who also enjoys working as part of a wider team.

Essential experience

  • Strong commercial experience in UX or Experience Design
  • Agency experience, ideally working across multiple client accounts
  • Strong end-to-end UX experience across research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing
  • Experience owning projects rather than contributing as a small part of a much larger programme
  • Confidence presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating workshops and shaping briefs
  • Strong product thinking and the ability to turn insight into practical design solutions
  • Experience working closely with UI Designers and Engineers through delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working at pace in a collaborative environment

Desirable

  • Experience within retail or e-commerce
  • Experience working on complex transactional products
  • B2B or enterprise product experience
  • Experience contributing to design systems
  • Experience identifying opportunities within client accounts and helping expand the scope of work
  • Experience working with large-scale digital platforms or complex customer journeys

The role is London hybrid, with around 2 days per week in the office, and is paying up to £70k.
