My client is looking for a Product Designer to optimise the experience across their two distinct brands which form part of their group. You'll be enhancing the websites initially, whilst they also work towards an app launch later this year.

The Role:

  • Working closely within a cross-functional team, you will help ensure their products align with business goals while delivering a seamless and engaging experience for users.
  • Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviours.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor experiences to identify best-in-class UI/UX practices that enhance customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align research findings with the user experiences, ensuring they meet customer needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring seamless integration between design and functionality.
  • Create intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces using tools like Figma.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively convey design concepts across web, app, and mobile platforms.
  • Partner with product teams and developers to bring designs to life.
  • Engage in Agile processes to ensure design feasibility and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously refine and enhance design workflows.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio highlighting past ecommerce projects.
  • Proficiency in user research methods and usability testing techniques.
  • Experience designing for web, app, and mobile platforms, with an understanding of the unique considerations for each.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating within an Agile squad.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting outstanding user experiences.
  • A solid understanding of design accessibility principles.
