We’re supporting a major enterprise organisation in the search for a Technical Network Service Owner to take ownership of critical network services across a large-scale technology environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced network professional who wants to combine hands‑on technical expertise with service ownership, stakeholder engagement and supplier management. You’ll help ensure enterprise network services remain secure, reliable and fit for the future, while contributing to modernisation, automation and service improvement initiatives.
The Role
You’ll provide technical ownership across network operations, change activity and service improvement, working closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders and third‑party suppliers. Responsibilities include:
- Owning and improving enterprise network services
- Supporting network‑related projects and change initiatives
- Managing incidents, problems, risks and service improvements
- Working with suppliers to maintain service quality
- Contributing to network roadmaps, automation and modernisation
- Providing technical input across LAN, WAN, Wireless and Network Security
What We’re Looking For
- Strong network engineering experience across enterprise environments
- Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper technologies
- Knowledge of SD‑WAN, SASE/SSE, LAN switching, wireless and routing protocols such as BGP/OSPF
- Strong network operations and troubleshooting experience, including packet‑level analysis tools such as Wireshark
- Experience with automation or scripting, ideally Python
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and supplier management skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent would be beneficial
