Founding Technical Product Manager - 2 - 5 Years Experience - Product Builder. Its technology has the potential to change how people pay. You’ll help shape and launch products spanning payment hardware, kiosks, native apps and merchant software, with the freedom and responsibility that only comes with joining this early.
You won’t simply decide what gets built and hand it over to Engineering. You’ll take fuzzy problems through to working products, using AI to prototype, test, build and ship. The key word is building. They need someone who enjoys getting into the detail of how products actually work, can hold their own in technical conversations and is excited by the opportunity to ship real functionality themselves.
The roadmap — turning commercial priorities, customer needs and technical realities into a clear, sequenced plan across digital products, software and payment hardware.
- 0–1 product development — taking new ideas from an ambiguous problem through discovery, prototyping, validation and launch.
- The build — using AI to prototype and ship real features, including portal interfaces, internal tools and integration work.
The sweet spot is an ambitious, technically fluent builder at a relatively early stage in their career who is ready to take on significant ownership. Roughly 2–5 years’ total experience, ideally including time as a full-stack engineer before moving into Product.
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL and JavaScript, across front-end or back-end development. The ability to read a schema, query structured databases and confidently understand APIs, systems and integrations. Evidence of taking products from 0–1 and shipping them to real customers. Fluency with AI tools and genuine examples of using them to prototype, build, iterate and ship at pace.
A former full-stack engineer who has moved into Product Management. A technical Product Owner ready to step into broader end-to-end product ownership. A Product Manager with genuine coding experience and a strong portfolio of side projects. Someone from an early-stage startup who has personally helped take products from concept to launch. An AI-native product builder whose job title does not yet fully describe what they can do.
Founding-level ownership without needing to arrive with a decade of management experience.
