We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to join a well-established UK consumer fintech that's investing heavily in design as it continues to scale.

The role sits within the Design Systems team and is focused on evolving an already strong native design system rather than building one from scratch.

The foundations are in place, so the focus is on increasing adoption across product teams, migrating existing experiences into the system, helping bring web up to the same standard, and ultimately working towards a more unified cross-platform approach.

They're particularly interested in people who combine deep native design systems experience with a modern approach to design.

One of the biggest areas of focus is AI-enabled workflows, so they're keen to speak with designers who have started experimenting with tools like Claude, Cursor, Figma MCP or similar to improve documentation, design-to-code, prototyping or overall design system delivery.

They're looking for someone who: Has led or owned native design systems at scale.

Understands component architecture, tokens, governance and adoption.

Has worked closely with engineering on implementation and delivery.

Has begun integrating AI into their day-to-day design workflow.

Ideally has experience in fintech or another complex, regulated environment, although this isn't essential.

It's a genuine leadership opportunity where you'll influence how design is delivered across the organisation while remaining hands-on.

Design is a major investment area for the business, with the team having grown significantly over the last year, and there is strong backing from leadership for continuing to evolve the design function.

The role offers up to £110k, a bonus that has been paid consistently over the last five years, excellent benefits, and hybrid working with two days a week in the London office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
