We’re working with a global, enterprise-scale organisation to hire a UX/UI Designer on a 6-month contract. The business operates across multiple international markets, supporting large-scale, operational platforms used day-to-day across a complex supply chain environment. Their products sit at the heart of how data, systems and users interact — with a strong focus on improving usability across dense, data-heavy interfaces. They’re currently investing in evolving one of their core platforms, with a particular focus on refining how users navigate, interpret and act on large volumes of information.

The role involves working closely with a Lead UX Designer and a wider global product team to translate research and insights into clear, usable, and scalable design solutions. This role is heavily focused on execution — taking structured UX outputs and turning them into high-quality UI, prototypes and production-ready designs across a complex SaaS platform. There’s a strong emphasis on simplifying workflows, improving clarity across data-heavy screens, and contributing to a more cohesive, consistent user experience across the platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Translating user research and insights into clear, intuitive interface designs
  • Designing wireframes, high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes in Figma
  • Improving the usability of complex workflows, dashboards and data-heavy interfaces
  • Structuring large volumes of information in a way that is clear and user-friendly
  • Contributing to and evolving component libraries and design systems
  • Collaborating closely with product, engineering and stakeholders across a global team
  • Supporting the creation of user-facing materials, including lightweight tutorial or guidance content
  • Helping to analyse and interpret user feedback to inform design decisions

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong UI and visual design skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Confidence working in Figma, including components, prototyping and scalable systems
  • Experience working on data-heavy products (e.g. dashboards, analytics, complex tables)
  • Ability to translate research and requirements into clear, well-structured designs
  • Comfortable working in a structured, stakeholder-heavy environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience with motion design or tools like After Effects is a bonus

Package:

  • 6-month contract (starting June)
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week onsite in Hemel Hempstead)
  • 3-stage interview process

Why it’s worth a look:

  • Opportunity to work on a global, high-impact platform used at scale
  • Exposure to complex, data-driven product challenges
  • Collaborative, international team environment
  • Clear scope and well-defined project focus
