The client, an independent agency, was initially founded as a branding and design agency over 20 years ago. Over recent years they’ve focussed more so on digital, specifically for corporate, B2B clients but across a variety of sectors, including bio-tech, financial, pharma, real-estate and more. Despite the economic downturn, they’ve had a lot of continued success with clients, pushing into new areas and going through small but stable growth periods. Approx. 30 people strong. They ask for people in the office twice a week – anchor days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but these could change depending on when a client might need to do a workshop, for example. Sponsorship is not available. £30-35k annual salary.
THE ROLE
Looking for a Junior Digital Project Manager to support the delivery of website and digital projects from concept to launch. The role involves working alongside senior project managers and internal teams (account management, UX, design, and development) to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will also support post-launch client support and contribute to maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scoping, planning, and scheduling projects, ensuring resources and timelines are clear
- Coordinate internal teams to keep projects on track
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and documentation
- Support the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and presentation materials
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, escalating risks where necessary
- Contribute to a positive agency culture through collaboration and engagement
THE CANDIDATE
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years in digital project management, in an agency environment
- Experience delivering corporate or B2B websites
- Understanding of CMS platforms, APIs, and website project lifecycles
- Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Confident with written documentation, such as briefs, reports, and statements of work
Desirable
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies
- Familiarity with Umbraco CMS or other structured CMS platforms
- Experience with Jira or other project tracking tools
