I'm working with a well-established independent agency in Leeds who are looking to bring in a Social Media Manager to take the reins on a portfolio of client accounts.

About the Agency

They're an independent creative agency with a strong reputation across brand, design and social. The team works with a mix of ambitious UK and international clients across sectors, including beauty and haircare, fashion and retail, food and drink, financial services, and home and lifestyle, and they've built a name for doing proper strategic thinking. It's a collaborative studio environment where social sits alongside brand, creative and digital, so you'll be working with people who care about the craft as much as you do.

What the role looks like in reality

You'll be working alongside the Social Media Director, taking ownership of the day-to-day across organic, paid and influencer. You'll be the main point of contact for a mix of clients, running content calendars, briefing the creative and studio teams, managing paid activity across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok Ads Managers, and pulling together monthly reports that say something useful rather than just restating the numbers. Influencer work sits with you too, from finding the right people through to product fulfilment.

Who they're after

Around 3+ years in a client-facing social role, ideally agency side. Comfortable in front of clients, organised enough to juggle a handful of brands without dropping anything, and genuinely curious about where social is heading (AI tools, platform shifts, the lot). You should be as confident talking through a paid strategy as you are spotting a trend worth jumping on.
