Diasporas Now, in partnership with the V&A, South London Gallery, Spike Island, and Primary, seeks proposals for six commissioned performances by Global Majority artists working in live art for a national tour under the theme of Macrocosmic Futures.
The open call is for artists living and working in England who identify as Global Majority (at least 50% of collaborations/collectives must identify as Global Majority). Artists must be working across mediums suited for live performance including performance art, dance, visual art, and experimental music, with proposals of 20-30 minutes duration.
Each selected commission will be awarded £1,050, performing over four evenings at UK arts institutions across Bristol (Spike Island), Nottingham (Primary), and London (V&A South Kensington, South London Gallery). All artists will receive AV, production, marketing, and curatorial support.
Applicants must confirm in-person availability for specific performance dates in December 2025 and throughout 2026.
