We're working with an award winning, North Yorkshire based marketing agency who are scaling fast and looking for an eCommerce Manager to join the team. They partner with ambitious online retailers to drive serious commercial growth, and they're after someone who can match that ambition. You'll work across a portfolio of eCommerce clients, shaping strategy, sharpening the shopper experience, and building the kind of work that turns good brands into category leaders.
What the role looks like:
- Owning eCommerce strategy across client accounts, defining roadmaps, spotting where the next opportunity lies, and translating shifts in tech and consumer behaviour into work that moves the needle.
- Driving optimisation across search, merchandising, UX and CRO, leading projects in collaboration with developers, designers and external partners, and bringing the kind of commercial sharpness that clients can feel in their numbers.
- Continuously elevating the shopper experience from first click to confirmation email, working hand in hand with product, content and creative teams so every promotion, listing and journey pulls in the same direction.
- Becoming a trusted advisor to clients, the person they call when they want a sharp answer, a clear plan, and someone who understands their business.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an eCommerce role, ideally agency side or across multiple brands.
- Strong working knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce or similar), with hands on experience optimising performance and user experience.
- A solid grasp of merchandising, search, UX and CRO, and how each contributes to commercial outcomes.
- Confident managing client relationships and presenting strategy and results to senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect day to day activity to broader business goals.
- Comfortable working independently and leading projects from brief through to delivery.
