We are working with an award winning global media agency looking for an experienced SEO & GEO Business Director to lead a high performing team. This is a senior leadership role with real scope to shape how SEO and GEO is delivered at scale. You'll oversee a team of 10+ strategy specialists, line managing multiple ADs and driving a consistent, integrated approach across SEO strategy, content, technical and digital PR. You'll work closely with the Head of Department to ensure the organic product is coherent, future-facing and commercially strong across the full client portfolio.

As well as the day to day running of the team, you'll play a key role in new business, thought leadership and industry profile, and will lead the agency's relationship with a dedicated B2B search pod.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the SEO strategy and content team, line managing Strategy ADs across multiple locations
  • Driving integration and consistency across SEO disciplines, breaking down silos in ways of working
  • Overseeing client strategies, QA processes and delivery roadmaps to ensure best in class output
  • Managing client profitability including scopes, burn rates and commercial performance
  • Supporting new business pitches and feeding into commercial proposals
  • Building the agency's external profile through thought leadership, events and awards
  • Leading training and development across the SEO team
