Zealous Agency have been tasked with finding an a Head of UX/UI responsible for aligning design strategies with broader business goals and delivery squads, to ensure user insights are integrated into the design process.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the design standards are consistently met, user interfaces are intuitive, and user journeys are seamless.
You will participate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and ensure their digital products are user-friendly and engaging. Key responsibilities include conducting user research and usability testing, creating wireframes and mock-ups, collaborating with developers and other cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- You will adhere to the broader business goals within the UX/UI capabilities to ensure user insights and design processes are integrated to the highest quality.
- Provide a seamless approach to a digital accessibility. Advocate and implement best practices in design, ensuring products are usable by people with diverse abilities and comply with relevant accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with Brand to ensure design and visual consistency of their products and services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to define user requirements and project goals.
You will need:
- Expert in UI/UX Designer, preferably in web design.
- Experienced in Sitecore.
- Ability to analyse user data, feedback, and design performance metrics to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, accessibility standards/best practices and familiarity with responsive design with a mobile-first approach.
- Experience in contributing to design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency in design across multiple platforms and products.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
This opportunity has huge potential to progress within the business whilst working with some amazing clients on varied projects across web and app design. This opportunity offers fully remote working with some occasional travel.
