I’m working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Manager to take full ownership of a fast-growing online channel within a well-loved UK consumer brand. This is a commercially focused role where you will be responsible for delivering budgeted volume, revenue and profit targets across the online shop. It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who combines sharp commercial thinking with creativity and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- You will fully own and drive performance across the online channel, from traffic generation and conversion through to retention and profitability.
- Working closely with Finance, Demand Planning, Warehouse, Sales and Brand, you’ll ensure the web shop operates seamlessly end to end.
- You’ll lead the Web Shop team with a collaborative, hands-on approach and won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Set and deliver budgeted volume, revenue and profit targets.
- Own commercial performance across the online channel.
- Continuously improve the website, including user experience, product listings, merchandising and brand presentation.
- Drive traffic and revenue growth through SEO, PPC and email marketing.
- Design and deliver email campaigns, newsletters and promotional activity.
- Monitor and report on performance, using data to test, learn and optimise.
- Implement retention strategies and new initiatives to grow customer lifetime value.
- Work closely with an external SEO agency to execute campaigns.
- Oversee stock systems for the web shop.
- Directly manage and support the Web Shop team.
About you
- You will already have strong eCommerce experience with clear ownership of online sales performance.
- You understand how to drive growth through SEO, PPC, email and content marketing, and you are confident using eCommerce platforms and digital tools.
- You’re commercially minded but creative, comfortable analysing data and translating insight into action.
- You can create engaging product copy and promotional content that converts.
- You’ve managed people before and know how to motivate a team.
- You’re organised, detail-focused and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
