Site Manager Freelance Up to £250 daily Birmingham, West Midlands Immediate start SMSTS, First Aid Zeal Recruitment are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a student commercial refurbishment projects in the Midlands. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site to the project; ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency and meeting project milestones. You will play a vital role in coordinating subcontractors, managing resources and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Site Manager Responsibilities: • Oversee all on-site activities to ensure project is delivered on time and within budget • Manage site teams, including labour, subcontractors, suppliers and direct staff to achieve project goals. • Plan and schedule work, ensuring resources and efficiently allocated and managed. • Making sure the site is clean and tidy • Enforce strict adherence to H&S matters onsite • Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks • Manage the compliance with building regulations, planning permissions and environmental standards. • Monitor construction work meets quality standards • Address and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays • Review and approve work completed by subcontractors • Liaise with the client, PM and design team • Provide regular progress reports to the PM • Maintain accurate site records, site diaries and H&S documentation • Review and manage project drawings • Support the preparation of handover documentation, including snagging lists and completion certificates.
