The Role
Zeal Recruitment is working with an established construction business looking for an experienced Builder / Multi-Trade to join their team on a UK-wide basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is confident working across multiple disciplines and is happy to travel throughout the UK.
You will work on a variety of projects and will report directly to the Director of the business, playing an important role in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of building and multi-trade works across UK-wide projects.
- Undertake roofing, carpentry and plastering works to a high standard.
- Complete repairs, maintenance and general building works as required.
- Read and work from drawings and project specifications where required.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, professionalism and health & safety.
- Work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Travel to sites throughout the UK as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Director and other site personnel.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced Builder / Multi-Trade with strong practical skills across:
- Roofing
- Carpentry
- Plastering You will need to be a reliable, hands-on individual who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working away from home.
The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys variety, is flexible with travel and wants the opportunity to work on projects across the UK.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Builder, Multi-Trade or similar construction role.
- Strong experience in bricklaying, roofing, carpentry and plastering.
- Blue CSCS Card or higher – minimum requirement.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home across the UK.
- Good understanding of construction health & safety.
- Reliable, professional and quality-focused approach.
