An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshal to join a busy, live construction site in Burton-on-Trent.
We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves regular interaction with delivery drivers, site operatives and visitors, so excellent communication skills and a professional approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely direct and manage all vehicle movements and site deliveries.
- Coordinate deliveries efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the site.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all site access and entrance points.
- Manage traffic flow to minimise congestion and maintain safe site operations.
- Use approved hand signals to guide vehicles safely around the site.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Site Manager.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with drivers, visitors and site personnel.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need
- A valid NPORS (with CSCS logo) or CPCS Banksman/Traffic Marshal card.
- A valid CSCS Card.
- Previous experience working as a Banksman / Traffic Marshal on busy construction sites.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive approach to health and safety.
- Checkable work references.
- Hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm.
- PPE
- Orange high-visibility clothing is required. • Hard hat, safety boots and gloves.
