About the role:
An excellent opportunity for a global Finance leader to make their mark at Zeal Group! We are seeking an ambitious leader with the ability to influence and deliver results. The successful candidate will be delivering the Finance Strategy, which you will drive through a considered and detailed approach evaluating both opportunity and risk as the business scales. We’re looking for an individual who would like to be part of a start-up like culture and has exposure to a growth environment.
Requirements
Your primary responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Managing a global team of talented Finance professionals
- Interpreting business strategy and logic into tangible deliverables for the Finance function
- Implement world-class finance procedures, processes, and systems
- Managing the finance department including: Accounting, Monthly Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts, Balance Sheet substantiation, Tax, Treasury, Budgeting and forecasting
- Track and manage performance, implementing best-in-class Management Information and Analysis for decision-making
- Manage cash flow, to optimize the company’s performance against enterprise wide targets
- Optimize liquidity management while reviewing current practices and strengthening security
- Help with strategy to scale, ensuring the business is adhering to relevant accounting standards
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial acumen
- 5+ years of start-up or scale-up experience
- Detail-oriented approach to Finance, with an ability to translate strategy into tangible deliverables for the Finance team
- Enthusiasm for Financial Analysis with an ability to delve into details and elevate to board level
- Experience in identifying, analyzing, and addressing financial Risks
- Extensive experience working with Treasury, especially in analyzing security of financial assets
- Exposure to multinational operating models, with the ability to apply head office logic across multiple geographies
- Managed or been involved with delivering associated Tax processes
- Capable of working independently with full ownership and the confidence to develop and manage processes end-to-end
- Commercial mindset able to provide analysis of the numbers and partner non finance stakeholders

- The ability to manage a large team, experience having worked in multiple geographical locations; understanding how different countries take a different approach (way of working, etc.)
- The ability to identify, deliver and communicate regional and global policies
- The ability to be a high contributor, proactive, have strong leadership skills, and be able to take a hands-on approach
- The ability to onboard and deploy global financial technology platforms, e.g, be able to find one, reorganize the workflow, allocate the jobs, task orientation through a mass accounting system
