We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Workforce Solutions Specialist, fondly known internally as “WSS”. You will make a real impact across the New England & Northwest region, helping individuals find their pathway to success while supporting local businesses to grow.

As a Zeal Futures Workforce Solutions Specialist, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of apprentices and trainees predominantly across the New England & Northwest region.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to help individuals successfully complete their qualifications.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers, ensuring positive outcomes for businesses as well as your apprentices and trainees.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the New England & Northwest Region.
  • Be a trusted advisor, supporting, guiding, and inspiring people at every stage of their journey.
  • Conduct WHS inspections and incident investigations, supported by the internal HR & Safety team.
  • Network within your region to promote the Group Training concept and services of Zeal Futures.

This fast-paced role includes a vehicle, as you will do lots of travel within your region to service your caseload of apprentices, trainees, and host employers.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Demonstrate proven experience in caseload management, business development, and/or customer centric roles.
  • Love being on the road and travelling within your region.
  • Show exceptional customer service toward both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Exhibit superior organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail, sound record-keeping practices, and an innate drive for continuous improvement.
  • Show strong computer literacy, including skills in use of Microsoft Office Suite and employee and client management systems.
  • Hold a current driver’s licence.
  • Applicants with a background in education or group training would be a great fit for this role, but it's not a must-have!
