Role Description
Looking for a senior commodity trader with experience of supplying UK animal and pet food customers.
Must be based within 70 miles of the office (YO12) and bring relevant market experience. This does not need to be in the organic sector but a knowledge of the UK animal/pet food market is essential.
As a senior trader, you will be responsible for trading a variety of commodities, analysing commodity markets, managing risk and developing new sales channels. The role will involve executing trades and building relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Currently live within 70 miles of the office (YO12)
- Existing relationships with UK based animal and pet food buyers
- 3 + years of experience
Qualifications
- Trading and Agricultural Commodity Markets knowledge (+3 years)
- Experience in Sales and client relationship management
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Wholesale Import and Export
