Our business is growing at rapid speed, and we are looking for an Account Manager / Talent Manager to join our UK team based in Sheffield. ZBD is a model and talent agency with a difference. All of Zebedee’s talent have disabilities, visible differences or are from the trans and non‑binary community. ZBD was born out of a passion to drive the fashion and media industries to be more inclusive. ZBD are a hugely successful agency, representing over 1000 talent worldwide, with clients in the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia. We work with some of the biggest beauty and fashion brands in the world, as well as placing our talent in commercial projects, TV and film.
Responsibilities
- Book and manage model, actor and influencer jobs.
- Negotiate talent usages and rates, using knowledge of models terms & conditions.
- Identify and drive new business to help the expansion of our client base.
- Manage relationships with talent and their families and carers.
- Scout, sign and nurture new faces.
- Gather and input billing information.
- Keep our database up to date and accurate, including managing images and other media.
- Support with casting sessions and other social events.
- Manage on‑call system over weekends, being on call one weekend out of six.
Person Specification
- Have experience as an Account Manager / Model Booker or a similar role such as recruitment consultant.
- Possess a degree in a relevant field, or other relevant qualification.
- Be a meticulous planner and organiser with the capability to prioritise workload, meet strict deadlines, and keep calm in high‑pressure situations.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills; confident talking to high profile clients and talent via phone and email, and work well in a team.
- Have good numeracy skills for accounting and billing.
- Have a good understanding of customer service, sales and marketing, social media and administration.
- Experience of working with disabled people and/or other under‑represented people is desirable.
