ZBD are hiring! Our business is growing at rapid speed, and we are looking for an Account Manager / Talent Manager to join our UK team based in Sheffield. ZBD is a model and talent agency with a difference. All of Zebedee’s talent have disabilities, visible differences or are from the trans and non-binary community. ZBD was born out of a passion to drive the fashion and media industries to be more inclusive.
ZBD are a hugely successful agency, representing over 1000 talent worldwide, with clients in the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia. We work with some of the biggest beauty and fashion brands in the world, as well as placing our talent in commercial projects, TV and film.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and dedicated team player to join us. You must have a strong Account Manager / sales background (or similar role), and a commitment to driving social change and disability advocacy. Ideally you'll have some experience in a similar industry such as advertising and marketing, recruitment, TV/Film, fashion/beauty or social media.
You will need confidence and great communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to work well in a fast-paced and often pressurised environment. You will need a good understanding of customer service, sales and marketing, social media and administration. You will need to work well in a team as well as showing initiative and working with autonomy.
Duties include:
- Booking and managing model, actor and influencer jobs
- Negotiating talent usages and rates, using knowledge of models terms & conditions.
- Identifying and driving new business. Help the expansion of our client base
- Managing relationships with talent and their families and carers
- Social media management
- Scout, sign and nurture new faces.
- Gathering and inputting billing information
- Keeping our database up to date and accurate, including managing images and other media
- Support with casting sessions and other social events
Person Specification:
- You will have some experience as an Account Manager / Model Booker or a similar role such as recruitment consultant
- Ideally you will hold a degree in a relevant field, or other relevant qualification
- You must be a meticulous planner and organiser with the capability to prioritise workload, meet strict deadlines, and keep calm in high pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills. You need to be confident talking to high profile clients and talent via phone and email, and work well in a team
- Excellent IT skills
- Good numeracy skills for accounting and billing
- A good understanding of customer service, sales and marketing, social media and administration
- Experience of working with disabled people and or other underrepresented people is desirable

Salary between £25k - £32k p/a dependent on experience.
