The role
This role will involve working on the daily dispatch of medications and test kits to our patients from our non-patient-facing pharmacy and warehouse based in London. The successful candidate will also assist our pharmacy team with tasks around the office.
Key Accountabilities:
- You will join our existing team to facilitate the dispatch of medications to our patients, handling sensitive patient data and protecting this data at all times.
- You will assist our in-house pharmacy team in handling deliveries of bulk stock, ensuring all stock and sundries are brought into the warehouse and organised. This includes lifting and placing trays of ice packs (approx. 20kg) into freezers. You must be physically capable of safely lifting this stock. Manual handling training will be provided.
- You will further assist the pharmacy team with tasks such as prepping non-prescription items for deliveries and making up boxes.
- You will assist the facilities manager with manual handling tasks around the office, e.g., moving, building, and breaking down furniture.
- You will assist the pharmacy manager with daily tasks around the office, such as sorting post and putting away groceries.
- You will be fully trained as a first aider and fire warden.
Technical Skills:
- Be physically capable of handling heavy items.
- Show close attention to detail and be familiar with high-volume repetitive tasks.
- Have a good understanding of data protection.
- Be experienced with the use of a computer.
- Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
