Key Responsibilities
- STORE OPERATIONS
- Manage HR Indicators (KPIs) performance, ensuring targets are exceeded throughout the store.
- Monitor and set corrective actions for procedures including Security and Shrinkage, Cash desk management, Administration management, and Health and Safety.
- Responsible for the maintenance of store’s electronic devices such as telephones, iPads, iPods, bluebirds, etc.
- Oversee cleaning standards inside the store ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Monitor store’s stationary, post, and travel costs in line with Company’s approved budgets.
- Monitor uniforms’ allocation for Sales Assistants and Managers according to company policy.
- Ensure timely and effective replenishment across all departments.
- Organise stockroom efficiently in all three departments respecting company guidelines.
- Ensure store merchandising aligns with company standards and commercial guidelines, considering bestsellers, current trends, and brand image.
- Drive marketing initiatives and store sales performance based on analysis of commercial reports and product knowledge.
- Manage the budget of hours in the store effectively respecting shift patterns and work-life balance projects.
- Design the ideal rota to ensure correct coverage, considering the budget of hours provided by the HR Business Partner.
- Conduct competitor research and provide relevant feedback to appropriate parties.
- HR PROCESSES
- Meet sales/unit budget, monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- React to recruitment needs of the department, ensuring a fair selection process.
- Understand and reinforce the company return policy.
- Responsible for all payroll processes and compliance with deadlines.
- Ensure all ER processes are followed according to company policy.
- Maintain clear communication with Head Office, Store Director, Product Managers, Regional Managers, and HR personnel.
- Promote HR Policies and Procedures and the Code of Conduct in the store.
- TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Identify team members with development potential and build a continuous internal succession plan.
- Develop the team through performance reviews and Personal Development Plans.
- Ensure inductions and training are carried out for all new starters and current employees.
- Deliver constructive feedback positively and honestly, setting achievable goals for employee development.
- Receive constructive feedback positively to support personal development.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the store.
- Motivate the team to offer a positive customer experience while leading by example.
- Support customer service with product knowledge and awareness of new arrivals, best sellers, and fashion trends.
- Effectively resolve customer queries and manage conflict.
- HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store.
- Communicate with senior management in case of an accident.
- Comply with the Company Health and Safety policies.
