Zappas is looking for enthusiastic hairdressing apprentices in Wokingham. We are a thriving business with 6 salons, over 150 staff, and 30 years of experience.
What the Training Includes
Earn while you learn! You will receive a salary while learning the skills required to become a successful hairdresser.
Training within our in-house Zappas Training Programme. Hands‑on teaching in our salons with supplementary external courses.
Reach your full potential! Apprentices are nurtured to their full potential while maintaining our company vision and mission.
Learn from the best! Assist our senior stylists, art directors, style directors, and managers as needed.
Discover new skills! You will shampoo and condition clients’ hair, assist with mixing and applying hair colour, and learn to recommend retail and hair‑care products.
Help us maintain our high standards! You are expected to be professional, presentable, and contribute to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards in our salons.
Responsibilities
- Shampoo and condition clients’ hair.
- Assist senior stylists with mixing and applying hair colour.
- Recommend retail and hair‑care products to clients.
- Maintain a clean and professional salon environment.
- Support senior staff in daily salon operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 16 years.
- Enthusiastic, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
