We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Fulfilment Centre Manager to lead our dynamic team at the London fulfilment centre. In this role you will oversee daily operations, implement efficient processes to optimise customer order fulfilment, reduce stock waste, safeguard assets and cultivate strong teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the designated fulfilment centre.
- Manage and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain adherence to all Zapp policies and procedures, upholding operational standards for the highest level of customer service.
- Review, refine, and uphold standard operating procedures.
- Lead, motivate, train, and engage front‑line staff to build and maintain a high‑performing team.
- Maintain the highest level of security for inventory and assets.
- Uphold and enhance food safety and health & safety standards within the fulfilment centre.
- Oversee facility condition and maintenance of the site and its equipment.
- Promote licensing objectives and ensure fulfilment centre license conditions are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing 24/7 front‑line operations in a logistics, e‑commerce, or retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams (15+), including management staff.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and implement data‑driven improvements.
- Experience collaborating with various stakeholders (e.g., Customer Experience, Central HQ) to seek guidance and suggest enhancements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, to support operational needs.
