We are looking for a Junior WordPress Support Developer to join our support team. You will help keep client websites running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and learn from experienced developers in a collaborative environment. This is an ideal role for someone with some WordPress experience who wants hands-on experience supporting real clients, improving their technical skills, and growing into a full-stack developer over time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot client WordPress websites
  • Work within the support team to help diagnose and fix small bugs, plugin conflicts, or performance issues
  • Assist with plugin updates, theme adjustments, and general maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with senior developers to learn best practices for WordPress development and support
  • Participate in testing, QA, and debugging to ensure client sites stay stable and secure
  • Document issues and solutions clearly for internal knowledge sharing
  • Occasionally assist with small enhancements or internal tools

Requirements:

  • Some experience with WordPress – building, maintaining, or customising sites
  • Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with MySQL and basic database concepts
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work methodically
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow as a developer
  • Good communication skills and a client-focused attitude

Bonus:

  • Experience with WooCommerce support
  • Familiarity with GIT or version control
  • Interest in learning frameworks like Laravel
